  • PRESS RELEASE

On 30th August, Longchamp, the world-renowned French leather goods and clothing house, has announced the opening an exciting new store at the Mall of the Emirates, Dubai.

Located on the first floor of the prestigious mall, the store houses classic Longchamp leather goods ranges alongside women's ready-to-wear collections.

The elegant modern design creates a welcoming, yet airy feel, enhanced by light wood panels which contrast with asymmetrical white walls that have been specially created to display the rainbow colors of the iconic Longchamp "Le Pliage" bags.

Sleek, low glass cabinets display small leather goods, a unique range of exquisite silk scarves and leather accessories, while the newly launched men's collection affords its own dedicated area of the store featuring a combination of classic business bags and luxury travel cases.

Longchamp has fast proved a firm favorite among Dubai shoppers, both residents and visitors, since opening its first store four years ago. In 2011, the house's sales across the Middle East rose by over 100%, with much of that growth being driven by Dubai, and looking set to continue as new stores open over the coming year.

Known across the world for its creativity, innovation, quality and craftsmanship, the family run French brand, has seen steady growth since its foundation in 1948.

Throughout that period its popularity has grown across the Middle East and the rest of the world thanks to iconic bags such as Le Pliage and inspirational partnerships with famous artists and models.

The store will join the other Longchamp boutiques in the region, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Egypt.
