Previously, Luis held the position of Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill where he exceeded the targeted room nights and revenue in 2010 and 2011, as well achieving the prestigious "Hyatt Masters" award in March 2012.
Prior to joining Hyatt, he was also awarded as the 2009 hotel rising star of the year at London Hilton on Park Lane.
A graduate in Tourism Management - Marketing from the University of Algarve (Faro, Portugal), Luis brings seven years of experience in the hotel industry and has held a number of positions in five-star hotels in Europe.
As a passionate member of the team, Luis' aim is to put Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi on the world map through his international market knowledge.
Besides sales, Luis has a marketing background where he was the brand manager at Vila Sol Spa & Golf Resort. He was responsible for defining and implementing the hotels marketing plans.
In his free time, Luis appreciates fine food and is looking to discover the best restaurants Abu Dhabi has to offer.
