Magrabi Optical spread out across the MENA region

Magrabi Optical has steadily expanded in recent years across the MENA region. In 1981, their first Optical store opened in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in direct combination with the local Magrabi Eye Hospital.

Today the stores are located in the most distinguished malls and shopping districts across the Middle East, the Gulf and North Africa, with over 160 retail outlets. These include the Dubai Mall in the UAE, which is the world's largest shopping mall, and the ABC mall in Beirut, Lebanon.

Magrabi Optical eyewear stores can be found in the UAE, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman. It is the largest Ophthalmic eyewear and retail chain in the region.

The company is not planning on sitting still. Indeed, through its aggressive growth strategy, the chain is planning on spreading even more. Mohamed Abdel Hamid, vice president of communications and IT at Magrabi Optical states that "we plan to have 500 stores by 2015."

Eyewear consumers in the MENA region can be sure to find a Magrabi Optical store close by, be it now or in the near future.
