Mecca awards SR1.49bn road works deals

The municipality of Mecca has awarded four contracts, worth SR1.49bn for the construction of intersections with various highways crossing the new Ring Road IV, Arab News has reported. When completed, the new road is expected to resolve bottlenecks and traffic jams that plague the city during the peak Haj and Umrah seasons, said mayor Osama Al-Barr.
