Jaidah Automotive - a subsidiary of the long-established and influential conglomerate Jaidah Group - has announced the appointment of a new General Manager to the firm.
Mr Jenkins is a seasoned automotive General Manager who has worked in every facet of the motor industry from parts, to after sales, and sales and marketing.
He has spent the last decade in leadership roles. Following two recent successful stints in KSA he has now returned to the Gulf to take up the GM position with Jaidah Automotive.
"I'm very much looking forward to the challenge," commented Mr Jenkins. "Qatar is undergoing great change, is becoming a very exciting and vibrant place to be, and the automotive market reflects that dynamism and optimism. As exclusive importers of the prestigious Chevrolet brand to Qatar, Jaidah Automotive has got the product in place to make an even bigger impact in the market, and it's my job to make that happen with the help of the team in place here," he added.
Mohamed Jaidah, Chief Development Officer of Jaidah Group, added, "We're very pleased to bring someone with Mark's pedigree on board. His extensive experience and record of achievement within the motor industry speaks for itself and we're confident he can take Jaidah Automotive to new heights."
"Previously, Mark has worked with some of the world's most prestigious motoring brands and our main brand, Chevrolet, enjoys not only prestige but a global reputation. We're confident that if we all pull in the same direction, under Mark's direction as General Manager, we bring the rewarding experience of owning a Chevrolet vehicle to more and more motorists in Qatar," he added.
