Mashair Railway sued for SR500m

  • Saudi Arabia: Tuesday, November 06 - 2012 at 00:45

Saudi Arabia's Mashair Railway has been sued by tawafa establishments seeking damages amounting to SR500m, Arab News has reported. The tawafa firms claimed they had suffered huge losses because of a 90-minute delay in the running of Mashair Railway trains on the day of the Standing at the Arafat on October 25. The plaintiffs also planned to request the court in another petition to stop any future government move to ban the aggrieved companies from using the train service during Haj.
