Mazoon Electricity participates in GCC Job Localization Challenges Conference

Mazoon Electricity Company will be participating in the GCC Job Localization Challenges Conference as part of an official government delegation led by H.E. Sheikh Abdullah Nasser Al Bakri, Minister of Manpower.

Held in the city of Riyadh, the conference will highlight key strategies and polices adopted to increase nationalization and secure jobs for the local talents in the GCC workforce.

Mazoon Electricity Company is one of the organizations selected to represent the Omani private sector in the conference, an accolade to the company's leading human resource development and Omanization strategies.

"Our selection to participate in the GCC Job Localization Challenges Conference is a result to our dedication and commitment to build this nation's local talent and lead the electricity and distribution sector in the future," said Eng. Zahir Abdullah Al Abri, General Manager of Mazoon Electricity Company.

"The recruitment and training strategies adopted by Mazoon have enabled the company to achieve a successful track record in reaching an Omanization rate of 98%. It was such efforts that allowed us to bring home the GCC HR Excellence Award for Best Training Strategy in the region," he added.

The conference, in its twelfth edition, will be held under the auspices of H.E. Jamil Mohammed Humaidan, the Bahraini Minister for Manpower and will be attended by government dignitaries and representatives from leading private organizations in addition to human resource development experts from across the GCC.
