MD and CEO of DEWA receives high-level delegation from ABB

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), received a delegation from ABB at DEWA's head office. The delegation was led by Brice Koch, Executive Vice President and Head of Power Systems Division, including Johan De Villiers, General Manager and Head of Power Systems Division - Sub-Region Gulf and Mohammed Al Marzooqi, Executive Vice President -Strategic Partners.
Al Tayer welcomed the delegation, stressing the importance of collaboration with ABB, which is one of the world's leading companies in Power Systems.
"This meeting aims to foster collaboration between DEWA and ABB, especially in the fields of using solar energy techniques in electricity systems, exploring solutions and technologies for power generation, green transformers , sharing expertise on smart grids solutions, and strengthening our partnership with ABB for future projects," said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA.
ABB's delegation briefed HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer about the services its provides in Dubai and the UAE, as Dubai is listed as one of the most important markets for ABB, as the solutions provided by the company and the rapid growth of demand for efficient and reliable power have become a strong and growing trend and drive in this field.
The delegation finished by thanking Al Tayer for providing this opportunity to closely look at DEWA's projects and activities.
