The group which consisted of 35 international representatives, included Business Travel Executive Magazine, Luxury Travel Magazine, Public NYC, and My Planet: TV Channel.

Touring the entire Island by bus, visitors received a comprehensive view of all the precincts of the Island and were also treated to a walking tour of The Pearl-Qatar's Porto Arabia boardwalk.

"Drawing media from the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Africa, the visit clearly highlights the Island's positioning as a model first-class international urban mixed-use development that values cultural diversity," said Ebrahim Al-Sulaiti, CEO of United Development Company, master developer of The Pearl-Qatar.

"It is at once a residential destination, a retail haven and a luxury resort, shaped by the vision to create an asset and a way of life with lasting quality and value for its residents of more than 52 nationalities," he added.

The visit is one of regularly scheduled tours extended to international media, high-profile investors, government officials and business figures from around the world. The Qatari-based project has become a destination of choice and is seen as an attractive investment and business opportunity.
