- Middle East: Wednesday, April 17 - 2013 at 06:07
The International Monetary Fund has said a decline in oil production growth amongst exporting countries and ongoing political transition in some oil importing nations will drag on the economies of the Middle East and North Africa region in 2013, Zawya Dow Jones has reported. Challenges for MENA oil exporters include prolonged fluctuation in oil prices, weaker global economic growth and high public spending, the IMF said.
