Meraas Holding appoints Chief Leisure and Entertainment Officer

In his role, he will be responsible for translating Meraas' strategic vision for Dubai by overseeing the development of leisure projects and drawing up an annual entertainment calendar for tourists and residents alike. He will also be mandated to lead discussions with global sector operators, industry experts and intellectual property owners.

The appointment follows the announcement of the 30-million sq. feet multi-themed park project that will be located at Jebel Ali under the directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Master developer Meeras Holding has been mandated to oversee the development of this project.

Prior to his appointment as Chief of the Leisure and Entertainment division, Al Nuaimi was Executive Director - Business Support with the Engineer's Office. Al Nuaimi holds a successful track record in developing premier leisure and entertainment venues. He is particularly regarded for his end-to-end project management skills, extending from the stage of business development and conceptualization through to final operations and beyond
