MEALF 2013 goes green during its 7th edition in Abu Dhabi

For the first time, the Middle East Artificial Lift Forum 2013 (MEALF) the highly recognized energy forum and exhibition has announced that it will be embracing environmentally friendly practices and solutions during the upcoming gathering of the world's leading oil companies between February 5th to 7th 2013 at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
In addition, one of the events highlights; the interactive event catalogue will also be uploaded to i-pads with around-the-clock live streaming of the Forum.
To mark the occasion, Saeed Al Shaheen, MEALF's Chairman said, "Since our establishment, sustainability has always been a key component for MEALF as responsible corporate citizens who play an integral role in the international energy industry, and it has continually served as a driver that guides all our activities and endeavors. The exclusive use of i-pads during our upcoming Forum in February is considered an ideal opportunity for us to reaffirm our commitment toward similar initiatives."
He added, "Sustainability is particularly important for the global oil and gas industry as it is deeply ingrained in the corporate culture and practices of all our supporting sponsors, delegates and other participants. MEALF 2013 is supported by a range of regional and international sponsors including Kuwait Oil Company, Qatar Petroleum, V-Monitor, Schlumberger, Al Khorayef Company, GE Oil & Gas, Weatherford oil Tool ME, Kudu Industries INC and NOV Mono Group. Expected delegates for MEALF 2013 cover the GCC, North Africa, East Asia, Europe and North America such as the UAE, Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sudan, Yemen, China, UK, US, and Canada.
Organized by a highly experienced Technical Committee, MEALF is a specialized biennial Forum which focuses on the increasing use of artificial lift technologies in oil production across the Middle East region. MEALF 2013 will also feature a comprehensive exhibition on the sidelines of the forum which showcases the latest products, technologies and related services.
The 7th edition of MEALF will be once again be managed and organized by the Oman-based pioneer and leading exhibitions and conferences organizer; Omanexpo.
