Miele brings premium German craftsmanship to Saudi Arabia

Miele, the German premium kitchen appliance manufacturer, has signed a new distribution agreement with Awad Badi Nahas to promote its luxury domestic appliance range in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

With the major domestic appliance market in the Middle East registering double-digit growth in 2011, according to a report from international research company GfK, Miele has identified Saudi Arabia as a key growth market.

"Our distribution agreement with leading local company, Awad Badi Nahas, is a strong foothold in Saudi Arabia for the brand, and Miele's reputation for quality and expert craftsmanship means that we are perfectly placed to fill a gap in this mega market with our innovative, high quality collection of luxury domestic appliances," said Gaby Koudsi, managing director for Miele in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

With more than 30-year reputation for high-end product distribution and quality after-sales service record, Awad Badi Nahas' employs more than 100 personnel spread across modern showrooms and service centres located throughout Saudi Arabia.

"We have created a complete and exclusive range of domestic appliances designed specifically for our Saudi Arabian clients," said Koudsi.
