Minister of Industry and Trade meets Thailand Minister of Commerce

Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro confirmed, "The government of Bahrain and by continuous confirm of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister is keen to develop and strengthen economic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Thailand and develop bilateral relations to access new horizon of joint cooperation and coordination."

This came on the sidelines of a meeting with Thai Commerce Minister Mr. Boonsong Teriyapirom during Bahraini economic delegation visit to Thailand, in presence BCCI chairman Essam Fakhro and board members and a number of businessmen and investors.

During the meeting, Dr. Fakhro noted that the advances strokes developed by economic cooperation between the two countries have become the subject of satisfaction for both sides who are looking forward to develop and expand it.

Dr. Fakhro welcome Thai investment and open channels to Thai businessmen to benefit from investment opportunities available in Bahrain, especially that Thai leadership confirms day after day its eagerness to attract Bahraini investors and secure their investment business.

During the meeting, they also discussed a number of topics on the agenda such as food security and food industry and exhibition industry.
