Minister of Industry and Trade receives special envoy of Brazilian Government

Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro met morning with special Envoy of the Brazilian Government Mr. Caseario Melantonio Neto and Brazilian Ambassador to Kuwait Mr. Roberto Abdulla, in order to deliver a letter to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from Brazil president Dilma Rousseff.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations shared between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Brazil, adding the Minister the importance of such visits and meetings to enhance economic relations.

The minister also stressed keenness of leadership and government for closer bonds of relationship, in addition to keenness to exchange experiences to achieve the national goal.

In this context, the minister reviewed ministry's efforts to promote Bahrain as a destination for industrial and trade investment. Talks also dealt to take advantage of Brazil in food security issue, especially red and white meat.

From his part, Special Envoy of Brazilian Government highly appreciates government and Ministry for their efforts in enhancing economic relation between Brazil and Bahrain, seeking for more effort to deepen these relations.
