Minister of Works issues directs for better financial audit on MoW's projects

During the quarterly meeting, HE the Minister of Works Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf directed the Cost Engineering Directorate to enhance financial audit on all projects implemented by the Ministry; reiterating the importance of carrying out such a responsibility in light of MoW taking part in the Gulf Support Program.

The meeting highlighted the Cost Engineering Directorate's achievements, progress in the application of strategic objectives and initiatives, challenges and performance.

Present in the meeting were HE the Minister, the Undersecretary Waleed Al Saei, the Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services Ahmed Al Khayyat, Cost Engineering Director Maryam Al Yahya and Head of Strategic Planning & Quality Management Raja AL Zayani.

The Minister reiterated the Ministry's keenness to take part in the Gulf Support Program, which is expected to support and finance infrastructure strategic projects implemented by the Ministry.
