Works Minister participates in Paris meeting in preparation for Riyadh International Roads Conference

HE the Minister of Works Eng. Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf is to participate in Paris meeting in September, 7, 2012, which comes in preparation for the 17th International Roads Conference & Exhibition. The conference will take place in Riyadh from 9-13 November 2013.
This comes in recognition of the Ministry of Works' efforts and rank, which is expected to have a positive impact on the international organizations taking part in the conference.
The International Roads Conference & Exhibition, which takes place every 4 years since 1952, is considered to be one of the most important international conferences in the field of roads.
The next conference will be held in Riyadh in November 2013, and will be attended by esteemed roads and transportation engineers from all over the world.
The Ministry of Works, in collaboration with the Bahrain Society for Engineers and the International Roads Federation, organized the 3rd International Roads Federation Conference & Exhibition in January last year, which was held under the Patronage of Deputy Prime Minister Sh. Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and was widely attended by experts from all over the world.
