Works Ministry awards 7 tenders and invites bids for 4 tenders beginning of 2013

MoW's Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Services Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Khayyat revealed that the Ministry awarded 7 tenders worth BD4,636,083 in January this year, and also invited bids for 4 tenders worth BD2,306,500.
The construction sector involved the awarding of the tent construction project at the Constitutional Court Building.
'Bids were invited for a number of projects in the roads sector, including the revamp of Al Jasr Avenue, the revamp of Road 601 in Block 306 in Ras Ruman, and the re-construction of Bab Al Bahrain Avenue from Sh. Abdulla Avenue to Isa Al Kabeer Avenue, which is worth BD365 thousand,' said Al Khayyat.
'In the sanitary engineering sector, bids were invited for Al Hamala Sewage treatment Plant Project, and also for the sanitation depository yearly requirements and supplies, such as electrical, mechanical and cleaning materials and other accessories,' added Al Khayyat.
