Fakhro explained that work is ongoing to complete phase 1 of the project; with 59% completion so far.
Final asphalting works will be implemented following the completion of the present works being implemented by the Electricity & Water Authority, which include the transfer and protection of power cables present at work location.
As for phase 2 of the project, Fakhro explained that there is a big sanitary project planned for the area for next year, upon which work on that particular part of the road would commence.
