Acer notebooks top Mideast market in Q2

Acer Computer nabbed the lion's share of the notebook market in the Middle East and Africa region in the second quarter of 2009, according to research from analyst house Gartner. The IT vendor captured a 30.1% market share across the region for the period, the research showed.
