Mobily connected to Hawk system

Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has become the first customer India's Reliance Globalcom to be activated on the recently launched Hawk submarine cable system, PTI has reported. Under the 15-year indefeasible right of use (IRU) agreement, Mobily purchased multiple 10 Gbps of international bandwidth capacity, connecting Saudi Arabia to Europe and the US. Hawk cable system was built by Reliance Globalcom last year to initially set up Mediterranean Gateway and Hub at Cyprus. Last week, the firm activated the Hawk submarine cable system in Egypt and integrated it with global network in the Mediterranean region.
