Mobily expands its 4G networks with 2000 new sites

Etihad Etisalat 'Mobily' has recently finalized expanding its network infrastructure with the latest and most advanced technologies worldwide, beyond 6500 sites have been completed so far.
AlNasser added, "The largest share targeted the 4G network to cover 2000 new sites."
"In addition, 1,300 3G sites where setup to cover more than 660 locations with update. 740 2G sites were added to the updated ones to be 1850," he said.
He also pointed out, "Mobily's highly developed networks will enhance performance efficiency. Hence, this will impact the offered services including data service, which became a massive demand with the spread of smart phones among different segments of society."
AlNasser praised the efforts of network operations staff to accomplish this project. Those who have enough dedication to keeping Mobily the leading company with the best developed infrastructure and technology in the region.
Mobily adopted an innovative solution to expand the wireless network's efficiency in a move that enriches the lives of its subscribers, enabling subscribers in high data consumption places to connect to the Internet through smart devices and tablets using free (Wi-Fi).
