Mohamed Aaly Maghrabi and sons launch MAM Foodco in UAE

Mohamed Aaly Maghrabi and sons announced the launch of MAM Foodco, a privately owned food company based in Dubai that will offer GCC consumers a holistic approach to high quality, 'better-for-me' food and beverage. MAM Foodco is set to invest Dhs200m in its operations spanning over three main divisions Franchising, Manufacturing, and Distribution innovatively catering to identified opportunities in the GCC market.

"By consistently setting higher standards than our competitors in the food and beverage industry, we will be recognized as a regional leader in providing the high quality, better food & beverage experience," declared Hamza Maghrabi, one of the founding partners of MAM Foodco.

MAM's Restaurants Division was established to leverage the groups' extensive local knowledge and regional business connections, introduce new and exciting Food & Beverage International brands to the G.C.C. / M.E.N.A. region and develop customized authentic local Food & Beverage brands that would fit perfectly to this region and cater to its growing needs.

On the manufacturing front, MAM Foodco is currently building a 'State-of-the-Art' Manufacturing Facility in Dubai. Spanning over more than 26,000 square meters, the facility is set to produce innovative, culturally relevant products to meet the evolving needs of the consumer within the G.C.C. / M.E.N.A. region, as well as to support the growth of MAM's Restaurants Division.

Keeping in line with their holistic vision, MAM Foodco's Distribution Division was established to manage the company's distribution facility from its 'State-of-the-Art' factory, its fleet, and supply chain hub's within the U.A.E, providing quality services and on time logistical mechanisms to the brands represented by the group.

The company is set to launch its inaugural franchise in the UAE, Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza, in the first quarter of 2013 marking it as the U.S based chain's first international debut.
