MTV announces partnership with Virgin Megastore

MTV, the world's premier youth entertainment brand, announces its partnership with high street icon Virgin Megastore to create the exciting Hot List music selection.
The Virgin Megastore Hot List consists of 10-12 of the week's best tracks selected jointly by the MTV and Virgin Megastore teams based on Virgin Megastore's sales data and MTV's intimate knowledge of the region's musical tastes. The Virgin Megastore Hot List will air three times per week on MTV and in conjunction the 30 second promotion will be played over 30 times per day on closed circuit screens in Virgin Megastores across the region. This promotion will run for two weeks out of four for the duration of the 13 week partnership. Over time, the team behind the Virgin Megastore Hot List hopes to extend the scope of the partnership to include online activity on both the MTV and Virgin Megastore websites.
