Muscat airport posts 17% increase in passenger traffic

Oman's Muscat International Airport has seen total passenger traffic rise by 17% to 6,898,592 passengers at the end of November 2012, compared with 5,901,346 passengers during the same period a year earlier, Oman Daily Observer has reported. Air cargo traffic also climbed 15%, with total shipment 103,155 tonnes at the end of November 2012, compared with 89,825 tonnes in the same period in 2011.
