Muscat equity market ends five-day losing streak

Oman's MSM 30 Index bucked the weak regional trend by gaining half a percentage point to reach 5,506.36 Sunday. Al Hassan Engineering posted the largest advance, closing 7.90% higher at OR0.167. Bank Muscat added 0.90%, finishing at OR0.558. Since January 1, the MSM-30 Index fell by 3.30%.
