Muscat Grand Mall and Oman Riders Club organise 'Open Biking Day'

In an initiative to combine the excitement of riding with safety in a unique event, Muscat Grand Mall in association with Oman Riders Club organised an open day where customers and motorcycle enthusiasts were invited to visit the mall and experience the rush of biking in a controlled, safe environment.

The Oman Riders Club, officially established in 2009 is a not-for-profit organization, affiliated with Oman Automobile Association (OAA) and located on the same premises. The Club is a proud member of the GCC & Middle East Motorcycle Riders Club with representation across several counties. Today, the Club has over 95 active and dedicated members that participate in numerous charitable events throughout Oman, this event being one of them.

Hassan Jaboub, General Manager of Muscat Grand Mall said, "We have seen a great turnout for this exciting event today and it has been an unqualified success, with families and enthusiasts arriving at the mall to be part of this unique experience. The power of these machines has reverberated around the complex and we were delighted to be able to host the Oman Riders Club here."

Oman has a deep love for motoring, and Muscat Grand Mall and Oman Riders Club made them easily accessible to the public on Thursday - January 10. Professional riders took customers around on six different types of bikes covering the span of off-road, sport, touring and cruising, making it a truly thrilling experience. Biking enthusiasts, both young and old thronged to the front entrance of Muscat Grand Mall where they were informed about the safety measures to be undertaken while biking, and were taken on a ride around the mall with Oman Riders Club.

It is the fastest growing lifestyle hub in the Sultanate offering choice and convenience for shoppers and residents, as part of a combined leisure experience. In addition to hosting the largest food court in Oman, it is also home to leading global brands such as Carrefour, Happy Land, City Cinema, Sharaf DG, Aeropostale, R&B, Tim Horton's, Garage, Daiso, Gymboree among others.
