The first modern rear-wheel drive Kia is a true landmark vehicle for the company, combining stylish design with luxurious comfort, engaging driving dynamics and advanced high-tech features. In introducing the Quoris, Kia Motors confidently enters, for the first time in its history, an entirely new market segment.

Expressing his excitement over the launch of the new vehicle in Jordan, Samir Tayeh said, "We are proud to introduce the Quoris to the Jordanian market. Designing for a rear-wheel drive platform has provided Kia with an opportunity for proportions that define luxury. As a large vehicle, Quoris boasts a long wheelbase, an engine that sits further back, a pushed back A-pillar that creates a longer hood, and an impressively short front overhang.

The new flagship sedan possesses remarkable abilities to monitor and detect changing traffic conditions, and is constantly processing information, immediately deciding the right course of action and precisely executing vehicle movement controls as necessary. The Quoris can cruise at a desired speed, maintain a pre-determined 'safe' distance from the vehicle in front, and even come to a complete stop if necessary. Quoris can also detect and warn the driver of approaching potential hazards using innovative audio, visual and haptic alerts.

The Kia Quoris features an array of high-tech driving assistance and active safety features never before seen in Kia cars, including Kia's first radar-based Advanced Smart Cruise Control system, Advanced Vehicle Safety Management, class-leading Blind Spot Detection with Lane Change Assistance, Lane Departure Warning System and Around View Monitor system which offers a true 360-degree, all-around view in eight different viewing modes, displayed on the Audio Video Navigation (AVN) monitor. Additional night-time safety is provided by the AFLS (Adaptive Front Lighting System), which works in conjunction with the full LED headlights to deliver a continuously varying light pattern while also turning the lights in different directions to better illuminate around bends.

As well as providing high-tech protection for its occupants, every Quoris enables them to enjoy a sophisticated, refined and luxurious interior. The front seats are powered, heated and ventilated, while the regular rear seat boasts three-stage heating of the cushion and backrest, with manually adjustable lumbar support and a folding center armrest. A special 'VIP' option offers twin heated and ventilated rear seats with a reclining backrest, sliding cushion and lower leg support for the 'nearside' seat, together with a front passenger seat that slides forwards when unoccupied.

The Quoris features a touchscreen on the dashboard that allows the driver to take advantage of state-of-the-art functions and services, while the backseat display supports a variety of video formats to entertain passengers. A rich multimedia screen with premium sound and high-definition display is mounted in the back of each front seat. The folding center armrest for the rear seats incorporates a complete set of controls for the multimedia system.

The Quoris provides its passengers with a variety of entertainment and comfort options as the interior is exceptionally spacious and the cabin can be bathed in natural light as the large powered glass tilt'n'slide sunroof is standard on all Quoris models. The car boasts an exceptional multilingual audio system while the backseat display supports a variety of video formats. Four driving modes (Eco, Normal, Sport and Snow) enable the driver to choose a preferred set-up of suspension, steering, engine and transmission that is ideal for various road conditions or driving styles.
