- PRESS RELEASE
Navigant Solutions LLC, a NetSuite Solution Provider for the Middle East, announced its first localization solution designed to support NetSuite's expanding footprint in the region. NSExtend-ME delivers a set of pre-configured functionality and workflows that support payment and shipping methods prevalent in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
Additionally, the solution expands native NetSuite Landed Cost functionality to track estimated and actual document handling fees, custom duties and insurance.
Payment methods addressed in this solution include Letters of Guarantee and Letters of Credit. Additional features are invoice and purchase order forms that comply with local formats.
NSExtend-ME is being demonstrated for the first time at Gitex Technology Week, one of the largest IT exhibitions in the Middle East, being held in Dubai from 14-18th October 2012.
NSExtend-ME is built using NetSuite SuiteCloud, NetSuite's 'platform-as-a service' architecture that enables third-party developers to extend NetSuite to address unique vertical and international business requirements.
The features prioritized in the first release of NSExtend-ME are a direct result of Navigant Solutions' experience with the region, and 12 years of global NetSuite experience.
The NSExtend-ME represents a new milestone in Navigant Solutions' commitment to the region, one year after its initial launch of the trademarked SuiteAdministratorSM ME service, a set of best practices adopted by Navigant Solutions to enhance NetSuite deployment success in the Middle East.
NSExtend-ME functionality includes:
•Manage letters of credit and track against invoices.
•Manage letters of guarantee and track against purchase orders.
•Gain financial control with enhanced/R, A/P reporting.
•Optimize gross profit calculation.
•Manage approval process with government authorities.
•Track duration and approval efficiency.
•Gain flexibility with PDF layouts optimized for the region.
"Navigant Solutions has consistently worked towards empowering its Middle Eastern customers with advanced technology solutions. The development of NSExtend-ME is another building block towards achieving this goal. It demonstrates our continued commitment to our customers to optimize relevance of technology and provide net saving in costs," said Hadi Yashruti, Managing Director for Navigant Solutions.
