NComputing, the leader in accelerating the adoption of desktop virtualisation, announced its participation in the International Exhibition and Forum for Education (IEFE) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in association with its regional partner InnoKAT.
The company will be partnering with InnoKAT, a leading provider of data management IT solutions, to demonstrate the potential of desktop virtualisation for schools looking to integrate IT in the classroom.
The IEFE (18th to 22nd February) is part of a series of events that are all focused on giving international businesses in the education sector opportunities to establish partnerships and network with decision makers from Saudi Arabian and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) government bodies. Run by the Saudi Ministry of Education, the event attracts senior level decision makers, key industry education providers and stakeholders from across the globe.
With over 30,000 schools in 140 countries already using its desktop virtualisation solutions, NComputing is looking to grow in the region and extend its success in helping educators widen access to e-learning.
At IEFE NComputing will be holding break-out sessions exploring the key issues around mobility and 'bring your own device' (BYOD) within schools. In his presentation on 'Managing Chaos in the World of Mobility and BYOD' Mark Pilgrim, VP EMEA at NComputing, will discuss the BYOD strategies that educators need to implement in order to keep up with students and teachers bringing their own devices to the learning environment.
