NewGiza seals partnership with Real Madrid Foundation Academy

Located within NewGiza's Sports Club, the technical school follows Real Madrid Foundation's standards and regulations.

It provides the perfect opportunity for young boys and girls, aged 4 to 17 years, who are passionate about football to become professional players with the help of top-notch Spanish and Real Madrid certified Egyptian coaches.

It also pays attention to students' health and well-being and provides each of them with a sports psychologist, nutritionist and a first-aid physician. The Real Madrid Foundation Academy is set to become a highlight within NewGiza's Sports Club.

"We believe that health and fitness is a way of life and a great building block for a thriving community," said Halaby. "We're developing a 24-acre sports club featuring indoor and outdoor swimming pools, certified tennis and center courts, a fully-equipped gym as well as playgrounds and diverse venues for social recreation. Due for completion in 2013, the NewGiza Sports Club will redefine healthy living in Egypt," he added.

He also revealed Real Madrid Foundation's collaboration with Plan International, a worldwide development organization, to launch four new social sport academies in Egypt in El Balaysia, Manshiet-Dahshour, Giza, and Damanhour, where over 1,200 underprivileged children will participate in rewarding social and sports activities.

"Real Madrid, through its Foundation, is committed to social integration and development; nearly 30,000 children attend our 193 social sport academies across 62 countries," he concluded.
