Record year for investment promotion in Hong Kong
- Overseas and Mainland companies helped by Invest Hong Kong set up or expanded their Hong Kong businesses in record numbers during 2005. Last year, InvestHK assisted 232 companies, 13.2% more than 2004’s all-time high.

Positive outlook for clothing industry in 2006
- Seventy percent of the respondents in a recent Trade Development Council survey on trends in the clothing industry believe this year's market outlook will be better than last year. Oracle Added Value, an independent survey company commissioned by TDC, interviewed a total of 400 exhibitors and 736 buyers attending the Hong Kong Fashion Week and World Boutique.

Hong Kong to sustain export growth in 2006
- Hong Kong's exports will continue to perform well in 2006, says a Hong Kong Trade Development Council trade forecast. Its new report expects the city's total merchandise exports to rise by 9% in value. Domestic exports and re-exports are expected to increase by 4.5% and 9.5 % respectively.

UAE students visit Hong Kong
