Radisson SAS Resort, Taba, appoints new General Manager

Ashraf, 40, takes over as GM of the 348-room Radisson SAS Resort, Taba, after a career in the hospitality industry spanning two decades, from management trainee at the Heliopolis Sheraton Hotel, Cairo to General Manager of the Steigenberger La Playa Resort.

Ashraf holds a qualification from the Egyptian Hotels and Tourism Institute, and he has acted as a consultant, hired by the Institute of Management Development, American University in Cairo, as well as taking part in numerous hotel pre-openings across the country.

Married with two sons, his work experience covers time with Sheraton, Mövenpick, and Iberotel.

The Raqdisson Sas Resort, Taba lies on the Sinai Riviera with easy access to airports. Facilities include two swimming pools, a private beach, a diving and water sports centre, horse and camel riding, gym, sauna, steam bath, massage and treatment rooms.
