Standard Chartered Bank has launched Internet Banking in the UAE, allowing customers the flexibility of carrying out the majority of banking transactions around the clock.
This launch coincides with Customer Week - seven days of customer-focused events at Standard Chartered Bank, across the UAE and the globe.
Subroto Som, Regional Head of Consumer Banking, Middle East & South Asia, said the cutting edge web site allows users to view their entire relationship with the bank, transfer funds, make payments, view credit card details, view investment portfolios and apply for banking products.
"Standard Chartered Bank continues to set new benchmarks in both customer service and technological innovation, and the new web site is set to change the way people bank in the UAE forever", added Som.
V. Chandrasekar, Regional Head of Information Technology and Systems, Middle East and South Asia said: "Privacy and security were front of mind when we developed this site, but we also had to ensure the site is user friendly, easy to use, and highly accessible."
In order to take advantage of the new Standard Chartered iBanking facilities, customers can log onto www.standardchartered.com/ae and complete an electronic iBanking application form, or print the form, complete it and submit it in person to any of the Banks' branches across the UAE, or post it to: Standard Chartered Bank, Centralised Operations, PO Box 999, Dubai, UAE.
