The G3100 mid-range phone is aimed at customers who are looking for an easy-to-use, value-for-money, lightweight phone with colour screen.
'LG believes this phone will be extremely popular as it addresses the need for a phone with essential functions and a colour screen but without the features in high-end phones that many people do not need or indeed do not use,' said Mr. B. H. Ahn, GSM Product Manager, LG Electronics Gulf FZE.
The new GSM bar-type phone weighs in at 85 grams with a battery life of 3 to 4.5 hours talk time and up to 250 hours standby time. The G3100 features GPRS and EMS capability, predictive text, 40 polyphonic ring tones, scheduler, voice-dialling and Qiblah indicator. The G3100 comes packaged with headset, as standard with all LG phones.
'Dubai Shopping Festival is the perfect time to launch this phone,' said Ahn. 'The event attracts an influx of visitors into the city from all across the region and this mobile phone will appeal to a broad cross-section of customers.'
