- PRESS RELEASE
Samsung Electronics, the global leader in digital convergence technology, has deepened its commitment to digital entertainment with launch of its new hard disk drive (HDD) built-in flat television, the 34A10.
Furthermore, the television is equipped with DNIe™ (Digital Natural Imagine engine) technology achieving superior image quality by using motion optimiser to eliminate noise; contrast enhancer to produce a picture rich in contrast; detail enhancer to sharpen edges and produce lifelike images; and six-time density enhancer to display a clearer picture.
"As a digital convergence leader, Samsung is always pushing the boundaries of product versatility and design. With launch of our first HDD built-in television, we are ready to empower our consumers with a whole new world of digital entertainment," said Mr. H.J. Park, Senior Manager, Sales and Marketing, Samsung Gulf Electronics.
"We are driven by consumer preference, and on the basis of consumers' digital entertainment requirements we introduced this unique HDD built-in offering for the first time in the Middle East. We currently enjoy a dominating position in the television industry and are confident that the launch of the new television will strengthen this position across the region," added Mr. Park.
With hi-tech digital features such as 100Hz natural scan for flicker free images, the 341A10 is powered with Dolby Prologic 2 and produces 45W output. It also features a woofer speaker system for power bass thereby ensuring superior audio quality.
"Our objective is to provide our consumers with a high-quality entertainment experience within their living rooms," said Mr. Ashraf Sajid, Marketing Manager, Samsung Gulf Electronics. "Samsung products are known for combining superior performance with scintillating style and Samsung continues this tradition with the 34A10 television. Its minimalist design shape is designed to eliminate the typical black box look, by easily fitting into a corner and matching with aesthetic interior design."
"As the television has become a part of home entertainment systems, its compatibility with other devices such as a personal computer (PC) becomes imperative. The 34A10, facilitating a PC-input, offers the best solution for consumers who want to build a futuristic personal digital entertainment centre that can save on interior space and also enhance interior style. The 34A10 is carefully designed as one compact unit integrating U1 design for easy access of new functions, is high-definition ready and comes with a light touch control," Mr. Ashraf added.
