The event will gather channel partners and customers in Lebanon to brief them on IBM's latest PC-based solutions that offer unique manageability, security and wireless capabilities and address the changing needs of today's business PC user.

"IBM's ThinkVantage technologies offer several unique advantages to PC users in the business environment. The Hard Disk Active Protection System, for example, is a patented hardware and software solution from IBM that dramatically reduces hard drive failures by avoiding full-induced system damage. The Rescue and Recovery with Rapid Restore helps users get back to business quickly by allowing them to recover from common problems such as software crashes, corruption on applications and viruses," said Sameh Farid, regional manager of personal computing division, IBM Middle East, Egypt and Pakistan. "These events are a great opportunity for us to work closely with our partners and customers and guide them in using the best PC solutions for their businesses and day to day activities."

The seminars will highlight IBM PC innovations designed to meet the growing needs of companies deploying e-business solutions like wireless networking, advanced security and application management. IBM will also demonstrate the new technologies in its latest range of the stylish ThinkPad notebooks and the re-designed line of ThinkCentre desktops, as well as a special focus on the xSeries range of eServers and their unique Enterprise X-Architecture, which has revolutionised the Intel server marketplace.
