Dolphin Energy selects SAP software to meet future financial and operations management needs

Dolphin Energy Limited today announced it has selected the mySAP business suite to handle the energy company's rapidly expanding business and operational requirements.
"We have selected mySAP because of its proven systems, its regional record in the energy industry and a competitive price," said Dolphin Energy CEO, Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh.
"Our company is developing at great speed and we therefore took the long-term strategic decision to invest in an ERP System, which will help us grow effectively - and which is flexible enough to grow with us."
Dolphin will implement Phase One of the SAP installation by close of 2004, when financial, procurement and material management for Abu Dhabi and Doha operations will be activated. Phase Two starts in 2005, covering Plant Operation in Ras Laffan and other requirements.
For SAP Arabia, Mr Essam Enany, President of SAP Arabia, commented: "We are delighted to have been chosen by Dolphin Energy to supply mySAP Business Suite.
