Franck Sebire, the hotel's General Manager, said: 'Ras Al Khaimah is steeped in ancient Arabic heritage and surrounded by some of the region's most beautiful landscapes of mountains, sea and desert. By working together with a professional tour operator, we have created a choice of four very different packages at excellent value rates which will provide a hassle-free guided tour of this unspoilt emirate.'
Guests can choose from one-night packages to Wadi Bih or a desert safari or two-night packages to Khasab or the East Coast.
Each of the packages includes overnight accommodation in a double deluxe room, guided tour in a 4x4 vehicle, buffet breakfast or Friday brunch, picnic lunch, and barbecue dinner on the Al Khor restaurant terrace.
The trip to Wadi Bih, one of the UAE's largest and most lush wadis situated in the Musandam mountains, takes five hours and includes driving in a 4x4 vehicle through streams and valleys to a height of 2,000 feet above sea-level, as well as visiting local farms, old houses, mosques and ancient castles.
The desert safari package involves dune bashing through the desert, sand skiing, camel riding, and visiting Bedouin tents to witness the real Bedouin life, together with complementary drinks of camel milk.
For the East Coast package, guests will spend the morning visiting Manama village, Masafi natural spring, the Friday market, Dibba fish market, and the UAE's oldest mosque in Al Bidya before breaking for swimming and snorkelling in Khorfakkan. Lunch will be spent in Fujairah with a visit to the famous castle and forts of the area. This will be followed by a visit to Kalbaa, before finishing off the afternoon by watching the famed Friday bull fighting competition.
The visit to Khasab takes guests through Shaam villages and the Musandam mountains into Oman, offering breathtaking views of the Straits of Hormuz and Iranian Coast. From Khasab port, a boat will transport guests past several fishing villages to Khour Sham, where guests may be lucky enough to glimpse swimming dolphins. Lunch will be spent at one of the islands with time for swimming and snorkelling and a return to Ras Al Khaimah in the afternoon.
The Hilton Ras Al Khaimah, which is situated on the waterfront with views of Ras Al Khaimah's Creek, has 214 rooms and comes with several leisure facilities including four restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool, two tennis courts, and a fitness room. By March 15, hotel guests will have access to the new Hilton Beach Club, which is located on a private beach and boasts a wide choice of water sports, a spectacular waterfall pool bar and an outdoor Mongolian Grill restaurant.
