Nashar Trading Company of Saudi Arabia chooses mySAP Business Suite to sharpen competitive edge

SAP Arabia, the exclusive regional distributor of the world's leading ERP major SAP AG of Germany, today announced that the Saudi Arabia-based food company, Nashar Trading Company, has selected mySAP Business Suite solution to integrate its operations and to be the company's future platform to support its ambitious expansion plans in the Middle East.

Commenting on the company's decision to install mySAP Business Suite, Mr. Mohamed Al Batal, Sales Manager, SAP Arabia said that the new ERP solution will help Nashar Trading Company streamline and optimize its operations, lower costs and help achieve the new growth target it has set for itself regionally as well as globally.

Mr. Essam Enany, President of SAP Arabia said: "The decision of Nashar Trading Company to opt for mySAP Business suite is very significant to us because it emphasizes SAP ERP's versatility - that it is the ideal choice in a small and medium business (SMB) environment. The food company has products with well-known household names like Al Taj (Golden Crown Cream), Farm Ghee and also distributes Green Giant from General Mills. The company's business also extends from supermarkets and wholesalers to restaurant chains as Pizza Hut and Burger King.

Explaining the reason behind their selection of mySAP Business Suite, Mr. Talal Ali, Chief Executive Officer of Nashar Trading Company said: "Since our company is almost fifty-five years old in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it is time for us to shift gears and modernize the way we carry out our business. He said the food company has decided to expand its operations in the Middle East region and having an ERP tool will support its growth activities leveraging internal information and improving operational strength to achieve strategic goals.

He further explained that the company evaluated various ERP solutions available in the market prior to zeroing in on mySAP Business Suite because of the flexibility it offers with unlimited scalability to suit future business requirements.
