Renewal of medical licences to require compulsory CME Hours from 2007
- Representatives from the Emirates Medical Association (EMA), the General Authority for Health Services for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (GAHS), and the UAE Ministry of Health, announced at a press conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel that from 2007 medical practitioners will be required to complete a minimum number of Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours in order to renew their medical licenses.
