Renewal of medical licences to require compulsory CME Hours from 2007
Representatives from the Emirates Medical Association (EMA), the General Authority for Health Services for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (GAHS), and the UAE Ministry of Health, announced at a press conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel that from 2007 medical practitioners will be required to complete a minimum number of Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours in order to renew their medical licenses.
