Awafi Festival 2007 off to a splendid start
- The Awafi Festival 2007 got off to a colourful start on Tuesday with H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, opening the annual spring festival at a function held at the Cultural Centre.

All set for Awafi Festival 2007 in Ras Al Khaimah
- Elaborate arrangements have been made for this year's Awafi Festival which opens for visitors from today (January 11), whereas the festival's official inauguration has been set for January 16, when it will be opened by H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, at the Cultural Centre here.
