  • The growth in trade and population in the region will fuel port expansions further to cater to the rising demand, said Mr. Ahmed Butti Ahmed, Director General of Dubai Customs, after officially inaugurating the maiden Ship Port & Arabia 2005, a unique show focusing on next generation marine technology, ship building, shipyards, ports, logistics and engineering at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC).
