AD, new Toyota showroom
Abu Dhabi has a new showroom for Toyota and Lexus vehicles. Distributor Al Futtaim Motors said customer suggestions over the years had been used to guide the showroom's design. Meanwhile, the new 2004 Camry is now in stock and available in 2.4 and 3-litre versions.
Jeep Rubicon, 7-year warranty
The Limited Edition Jeep Rubicon Raider now comes with a 7-year or 110,000km extended powertrain warranty. Available from UAE distributor Trading Enterprises this model also features 15x8 inch wheels and Mickey Thompson tyres, maxi roof light bar and mounted lights, front bumper rock crawler and aluminium diamond plate front bumper guard.
Chevy, 2-year service offer
Chevrolet dealers in the UAE are offering two years of free service on any vehicle purchased during the Holy Month of Ramadan. There is also free entry into a prize draw with the chance to win a Chevrolet Aveo or a Nokia 7250i mobile phone. For details visit, www.chevroletarabia.com.
Lexus LX470, navigation system
The new Lexus LX470 4x4 comes with a state-of-the-art GPS navigation system so desert travellers no longer have to follow the stars. The Global Positioning System is the same satellite system used by mariners on the oceans. The LX470 also features a rear camera monitor and bluetooth telephone technology.
VW, half-price Ramadan deal
During the Holy Month of Ramadan UAE Volkswagen distributor Al Naboodah is allowing customers to pay half for VW cars that will be returned after two years. There is also 4.1 per cent finance available on installments payable over 12 to 24 months. The balance on the car can be paid after two years, or the loan refinanced, or the car traded in.
Lexus, Ramadan promotion
UAE Lexus distributor Al-Futtaim Motors is giving customers a free Aftron home theatre system if they buy a vehicle during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Al-Futtaim boasts one of the best after sales service centre networks in the UAE with a fully computerised dealer and service network.
Hyundai, 150 days to pay
UAE Hyundai distributor Juma Al Majid is offering 150 days of deferred payments on all passenger vehicles bought during Ramadan with nil down payment. Customers also get seasonal gifts ranging from home theatre systems, CD players, TVs, washing machines, microwaves and refrigerators.
Sing 4x4, new Chinese bargain
Sing's UAE distributor Swaidan Trading, part of Al Naboodah Group, is marketing a new 7-seater 4x4 with alloy wheels, dual air conditioning, CD player, power windows and power steering for the highly competitive price of USD13,000. There is also a three year, 60,000km warranty and easy finance options.
Nissan, free Ramadan check-up
UAE Nissan distributor Arabian Automobiles is offering a free safety and mechanical check-up for all Nissan vehicles during Ramadan. There is also a choice of gifts, a free oil and filter change, or Dhs50 voucher, or a floor mat and Nissan T-shirt. Plus there is 20 per cent off labour and 50 per cent off spare parts.
BMW USD60m Cairo plant
BMW is to start assembling 3-Series and 5-Series cars at a new USD60m plant in Cairo from mid-2004, reported Aalam Al Yom. The plant will produce 1,500 to 1,800 cars in the first 12 months but have the capacity to built 4,000 cars a year. Local production will beat high import tariffs.
Porsche prize, Sharjah Mega Mall
Win a Porsche during the Holy Month of Ramadan by shopping at the Sharjah Mega Mall. For every Dhs200 spent in the shopping mall each shopper gets an entry ticket for the free draw. Sharjah Mega Mall sells just about everything except cars.
BMW, 1.99pc finance, Ramadan
