UAE Hyundai agents Juma Al Majid is offering one-year of free comprehensive insurance on the 2005 model Elanta which costs from Dhs35,900. This entry-level saloon also enjoys a five-star safety rating from the NHTSA.
Cadillac Escalade, 50pc deal
UAE distributor Liberty Automobiles is offering a 50 per cent upfront payment deal on the Cadillac Escalade EXT and ESV 4x4s. There is also a three-year or 100,000km warranty, and 2.5 per cent comprehensive insurance rate, plus free registration and three years or 60,000km of free service.

Mercedes pulls ahead of BMW
DaimlerChrysler has reported an 18 per cent hike in August sales of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. In Dubai sales of the new C-Class were up 51 per cent and E-Class sedans by 20 per cent. This helped boost January to August unit sales by eight per cent to 7,090, ahead of four per cent growth at BMW, confirming the company's position as the region's leading luxury car manufacturer.
New Jeep Wrangler Comanche
The all-new limited edition Jeep Wrangler Comanche has extended fenders, off road spotlight, chrome grille inserts, stainless steel trim, uprated suspension, Mickey Thompson Tires and aluminium rims and chrome detailing. Mitsubishi Outlander with MIVEC
UAE distributor Al Habtoor Motors is promoting the 2005 Outlander with Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing Electronic Control System technology. This 4x4 has a 2.4-litre, 181 bhp, 16-valve SOHC engine with higher torque at lower rpm ranges and higher output for better pick-up in the higher ranges.
Volvo XC90, free Sony DVD
UAE agents Trading Enterprises is offering the Volvo X90 2.5T with free rear-seat entertainment system from Sony and parking sensor. The 210 bhp, five-speed Geartronic vehicle is designed to be the safest 4x4 on the road with features such as a roll over protection system and boron steel roof.
Mideast deals direct with Maserati
Italian car firm Maserati is to end its exclusive agency deals from October 1 and in future all regional importers will deal direct with Italy, reported Gulf News. Officials said this was part of a move to boost Middle East sales from the present 160 cars per annum. In the UAE Al Tayer Motors will continue to import and sell the upmarket sports cars.

UAE agents Abu Dhabi Motors and AGMC have launched the new 500 bhp BMW Alpina B7 which rockets from 0-100 kph in 4.8 seconds. This flagship Alpina is built on the 7-Series body with a new engine and transmission and extensive cutomising of the interior. The B7 costs from Dhs470-490,000 depending on options including six-DVD changer.
New Nissan Patrol promotion

Qatar debut for new Hyundai 4x4
Qatar's National Car Company and Hyundai yesterday launched the Tucson, Hyundai's latest 4x4, available with 4-cylinder, 2-litre, 141 bhp or 6-cylinder 2.7-litre, 175 bhp petrol engines. It offers electronic four-wheel drive at the push of a button, and power windows, central door locking, rear folding seats, airbags, ABS and trip computer.
