Infiniti G35 wins 'Best Value' award
- The Infiniti G35 luxury sedan has been selected as the 'Best Value for Money Luxury Model' for 2008 by Automobile Magazine, a monthly Pan Arab automotive publication. Abhijeet Pandit, General Manager of Infiniti Business Unit in the Middle East, said the G35 Sedan is now the carmaker's largest selling sedan in the region with sales expected this year to be around 2500 units.

High-powered Mini arrives in ME
- The Mini John Cooper Works has arrived in the Middle East. The two ex-factory model variants, Mini John Cooper Works and the Mini John Cooper Works Clubman, promise a new dimension of driver focused performance as the most powerful line up in the Mini model range. The Mini John Cooper Works accelerates to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds, and the Mini John Cooper Works Clubman completes the same exercise a mere 0.3 seconds later. Both models enjoy a top speed of 238 km/h.

New Rolls-Roys coupe on sale in Saudi Arabia
- Rolls-Royce has unveiled the latest addition to the Phantom family, the new Phantom Coupé, for the first time in the Saudi-Arabia, at the Rolls-Royce showroom in Jeddah. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars' Regional Director for the Middle East, Peter Schoppmann, said Saudi Arabia is among the top 10 markets in the world for Rolls Royce cars. Demand for the new coupe in the kingdom has been very strong so far, he added.

Ford unveils Sync
- Ford has unveiled its Sync in car system, produced in partnership with Microsoft. The system will come as standard on all 2009 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models and allows voice-activated interface between bluetooth devices, gps and the car.

- The new Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera 4 is now available in Dubai. More powerful, fuel-efficient flat-six engines with direct fuel injection are among the highlights of the new series for both the rear-wheel and all-wheel drive variants. Moreover, power is accompanied with a greener solution, with the new levels of improved fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions.

Nissan in JV to boost car sales in ME
- Nissan Motor Co and Al Dahana have established a joint venture company - Nissan Gulf - to enhance Nissan's marketing and sales strategy in Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Bahrain, with the aim of selling 160,000 vehicles a year by 2012. The four markets together are expected to account for more than 40% of Nissan's sales in the region by 2012, according to a statement.

Audi sales up 34.6% in September
- Audi AG has reported that September sales for the GCC and Levant were up 34.6% over same period last year. Overall, the brand increased its worldwide sales figures in September by 12.3% to 95,137 vehicles (2007: 84,716). From January through September, Audi sold some 762,280 units - an increase of 2.9% (2007: 741,106).
