N-Series multimedia computers
Nokia has transformed mobile phones into multimedia computers with its advanced N-Series line-up. The models feature the latest technologies such as 3G, WLAN, megapixel cameras, gigabyte memory and high resolution video. Through its commitment to convergence, Nokia is now the world's largest manufacturer of digital camera devices and music players.
N90 snaps for charity
Nokia is using its 2-megapixel cameraphone, the N90, to raise money for sight-impairment charity Foresight. Ten of the UAE's leading photographers donated pictures, taken with the N90, to the Nokia Fonetography Auction. The phone's Carl Zeiss lens is able to produce high quality images for printing.
Nokia, Etisalat push partnership
Nokia has enabled a Push-To-Talk service for UAE telco Etisalat, by deploying its push to talk over cellular network solution. PTT allows users to hold walkie talkie-style conversations with one or more users, as an alternative to regular voice calls. It's being introduced in a free two-month trial.
