Jordan's transport infrastructure set for an upgrade
- Earlier this month, Jordan's government revealed that two ambitious plans to significantly enhance the country's transport infrastructure are getting closer to realisation. By the spring of next year, it is hoped that two bidders will have won the tenders to build a light railway link from Amman to Zarqa as well as a new terminal building at Queen Alia International Airport.

Al Mushatta looks to boost Jordan's industry
- The first phase of the Al Mushatta Industrial Park, located next to the Queen Alia International Airport, is scheduled to be ready by the end of the year. The zone is designed to boost Jordan's industrial sector and to attract significant foreign investment. As work has gathered pace over the past few months, the owners of the zone have been busy finalising a wide range of deals.

Jordan makes plans for the Royal Village
- The second phase of one of Jordan's most ambitious real estate projects got underway back in November when King Abdullah laid the foundation stone for the Royal Village, a key component of the $1.2 billion Royal Metropolis located on the outskirts of Amman. Sell offs and buy outs in the Jordanian telecom sector
