Emirates A380 orders delight Hamburg

With numerous urban development projects and being the third most important aviation centre in the world, with Emirates big order for the Airbus A380, the city of Hamburg is going through an evolution. Phil Blizzard spoke to Hamburg Marketing about the importance of Airbus, inward investment and their Middle East connections.

A380 update: Emirates A380 as it takes off

Emirates first A380 took off from Hamburg this morning. Dubbed Eda, its estimated time of arrival in Dubai is 5.40pm. AME Info's Phil Blizzard is on the plane and was given special permission to speak to us live as it was taking off. Rob Jones reports.

A380 update: Emirates takes delivery of its first A380

The handover from Airbus of Emirates first A380 today was watched by dignitaries and employees gathered in Hamburg. AME Info's head of broadcast Phil Blizzard was there and spoke to us via a phone link up about the ceremony and gave his first impressions of the plane.
