The Dubai Municipality has published a new edition of its popular 3D map of the city updating it with the many developments of the past five years. A total of 88 additions were made to the 2000 edition of the map, and a CD-Rom version is planned.

The Arab Media Group yesterday launched two tabloid newspapers in Dubai, one in Arabic and the other in English called Emirates Today. CEO Abdul Latif Al Sayegh said that the newspapers will not be competing with the local media as much as reinforcing the industry.
